Metal spinning
production process intervention
Metal bending
Adding ridges to the metal forcing samples to create interesting structures
Rainbow effect while heating copper before spinning
Really excited to do more research about this effect
After quite some practice I almost got it to fully cover the mold
Experimenting with the "bendability"of metal, how could I make it appear like a "soft" material?
MOV
Embossing, soft structure with swaging machine
HEIC
Pressed it down, liquified look
Using tempering for pattern making, fixing the flames onto the metal

Tempering copper
Fully burned and reheated again, front
Fully burned and reheated again, back
Fully burned and reheated again, back
Deforming, let the metal organically form
More rainbow copper
All the heating samples together
Combining spinning lathe with ridges made by a mold
Swaging machine couldn't make big enough ridges (max is 1,5 cm)
So I made molds out of metal tubes
Tried out different forms
